Surf Shack: Catch the wave of God’s Amazing Love!

At Surf Shack, your children will discover an interactive, energizing Bible based week that will give them a chance to ride the waves with God. Your kids will become Surfers and explore how to serve God and experience God’s amazing presence in their lives! After a high energy Opening Assembly at the beach, the Surfers will visit the Story Deck to participate in interactive Bible stories, make their own crafts at the Craft Hut, participate in outside games at the Recreation Station, and enjoy Tasty Shack Snacks.
Our Paddle Out mission center is an important part of our camp, teaching kids to respond to God’s love by reaching out to others. This summer our kids will learn how to provide clean, drinkable water for kids in Haiti, a country where the only water supplies available are tainted and cause disease in young children. We will experiment with making our own water filters, similar to the ones being introduced to families in Haiti to purify their water. We will also be learning how to conserve the precious commodity of water in our homes to be environmentally responsible.
