Exodus Outreach Report

A BIG thank you to everyone who contributed to the Exodus World Service welcome package! All the missing items were purchased by Outreach and Jack, Jim and I delivered it to the apartment of the new group on July 14th . We opened all the packages and put everything away; made the beds; and cleaned kitchen counters. The apartment looked very nice when we left. It is quite large – two bedrooms, large living room, bathroom, kitchen, 3 pantries/closets. Gail, from Exodus World Service, met us at the apartment and helped get it set up. She was impressed with the quality of the items we sent, so thanks again everyone. Well done!! The group we supported was a father and two sons (19 and 21) from the Rohingya group of Myanmar. They had been living in Malaysia for a little while before arriving here last Thursday. There is a sponsor, a cousin, who has been living here and will help them adjust. At this point they don’t know English. Our contact at Exodus World Service was happy to learn that we would like to visit and may be able to set up a time next month. If you are interested, please contact Jack or me. We will see how many can go
