The 2009 Blanket Sunday efforts of the CCAH  raised $600 for Church World Services.

Blanket Sunday was sponsored by the DWF Fellowship of the Christian of Arlington Heights.

For over sixty years Church World Services has worked in partnership with communities to provide needed supplies in the wake of many global disasters.  Last year CWS provided over 20,000 blankets in the United States alone as well as Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Indonesia, and Pakistan.

Our congregation will be able to provide warmth and protection to victims of disasters by purchasing wool blankets for Church World Services to distribute.
