Volunteering at PADS

Those who are interested in helping at one of the PADS sites this next year will be required to attend a training session if they have not volunteered before. The trainings will focus on the Hope Center and Journeys organziational structure, how to interact with the homeless, and general opportunities to volunteer not only at PADS sites but at the Hope Center as well.

Trainings for the first two months of the season are : Sept. 9, 15, 19 & 24 & Oct. 6, 14, 24 & 29.

This past season (Oct.-April) 18 PADS sites in the area hosted 15,676 guests visits and served 47,028 meals. The numbers represent a 17% increase from last season.
