The passage in Acts today is the perfect example of why the church needs an alternative fuel source other than our own actions.

Pentecost power focuses our efforts on loving God, following Jesus, and loving people.

5/2/10                          Revelation 21:1-6

God’s “cultural mandate” of creating and cultivating still holds true today.

As we fulfill God’s mandate of creating and cultivating we contribute to the New Jerusalem.

4/25/10            Revelation 7:9-17

John’s vision shows us is that in that place of worship, they jointly perceive what they need to know, that the Lamb is their shepherd

Worship together with others brings us the assurance that God is with us ... and it keeps us from shutting down hope. Worship can give us a glimpse of divine perspective.

Isn’t it amazing that God’s grace works through the “broken brushes and sloppy colors” of our lives?
